Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Explore Perth at Your Own Pace

  • Arrival & Check-In: Settle into your centrally located hotel in Perth.

  • Self-Guided Adventure:

    • King’s Park: Stroll through one of the world’s largest urban parks (4.06 km²), delight in its lush landscapes and rare wildflowers, and take in panoramic views of Perth and the Swan River.

    • The Mint: Visit one of the world’s oldest coin production facilities—a living testament to Perth’s rich history and economic heritage.

    • Fremantle: Discover this historic port town built in 1892, renowned for its intact Victorian architecture, cobblestone lanes, and Mediterranean charm.

  • Accommodation: Overnight in a Perth city hotel.

Day 2: Thrills from Sand Dunes to the Sea

  • Morning Departure: Board your coach from select hotels (Pan Pacific Perth, Mercure Perth, or Duxton Hotel Perth).

  • Lancelin White Sand Dunes: Experience the adrenaline rush of sandboarding on 45° dunes amid an 80-km stretch of pristine white desert – often dubbed the “Ice Cream Dunes.”

Day 3: Colorful Landscapes & Coastal Charm

  • Morning Excursion to Pink Lake: Depart at 8:30 AM and arrive by 10:00 AM at this natural spectacle, where unique algae create a magical pink tint in the water.

  • War Memorial & Lunch: Return to Geraldton around noon to visit the poignant War Memorial followed by a self-paid lunch.

  • Julien Bay Visit: In the afternoon, relax along the coastal boardwalk, perfect for photos and experiencing the blend of nature and local life.

  • Return to Perth: Arrive back in the city by 6:30 PM.

  • Early Departure: Leave Perth at 7:30 AM and arrive in historic York by 9:30 AM—the first inland settlement in Western Australia known for its colonial heritage.

  • Journey Through the Wheatbelt: Travel through rolling golden fields and scenic farmland.

  • Lunch at Wave Rock Restaurant: Enjoy a delicious meal before exploring one of the world’s most celebrated geological wonders.

  • Wave Rock Tour:

    • Discover Wave Rock, a natural granite formation (14 m high, 110 m long) believed to be 2.7 billion years old. Best visited in spring (August–October) when the wildflower displays add a burst of color.

  • Return to Perth: Arrive back in the city by early evening.

  • Accommodation: No overnight stay; relax at your Perth hotel the following day.

Day 6: Rottnest Island Free & Easy

  • Island Getaway: Start your day with a scheduled pickup from Perth between 7:30–8:20 AM to board the ferry bound for Rottnest Island.

  • On the Island:

    • Enjoy a free day exploring pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. Optional activities include swimming, snorkeling, cycling around the island, or even an adrenaline-pumping skydiving experience (available at extra cost; pre-booking required).

  • Return to Perth: Ferry back around 4:00 PM with an expected arrival at 6:00 PM.

  • Accommodation: Final night spent in your Perth city hotel (if applicable).

Cancellation & Important Information

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • More than 15 days prior to departure: Full refund (minus applicable fees such as pre-booked hotel costs, if any).

    • 15 to 7 days before departure: 50% refund of the tour fee.

    • Within 7 days of departure or in the event of lateness/no-show: No refund available.

  • Meeting Points:

    • Departure from select hotels in Perth (Pan Pacific Perth, Mercure Perth, or Duxton Hotel Perth).

    • Please arrive on time as last-minute changes or no-shows will not be eligible for refunds.

  • Additional Reminders:

    • This is a fixed itinerary group tour with shared transportation. Schedule adjustments are not possible on the day of travel.

    • Guests are advised to adhere to local travel and hotel regulations (e.g., no smoking indoors, seatbelt usage, etc.).

    • Mobile phones should remain reachable for real-time updates from your guide.

    • Itinerary changes may occur due to weather, season, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
