Hobart & Richmond, Australia – History with a Side of Pie

Hobart’s got small-town charm with a dash of hipster. Salamanca Market? Think handmade gin, wool scarves, and a dude playing didgeridoo next to a food truck selling wallaby burgers. Then we drove to Richmond—a time-warp village with Australia’s oldest bridge (built by convicts in 1823!). The highlight? The Bakery. Ate a scallop pie so buttery, I almost proposed to the chef. Also, the Richmond Gaol is creepily cool—stories of escaped prisoners who probably just wanted another pie.

Lake Como, Italy – A Fairytale in the Alps

Wow. Just…wow. Lake Como isn’t just a destination—it’s a mood. The water glows like liquid sapphire, framed by misty mountains and pastel villages clinging to the cliffs. I sipped espresso in Bellagio, watching sunlight dance on the waves, and thought, "George Clooney’s got taste." The villas? Chef’s kiss. Villa del Balbianello’s gardens felt like stepping into a Renaissance painting. Pro tip: Take the ferry at sunset. The sky turns cotton-candy pink, and you’ll swear you’ve been teleported to a Fellini film. No filter needed.
