Day 2: Girdwood
Soar through Alaskan skies in a spectacular aerial adventure complete with glacier landing. Board a helicopter from Girdwood Airport and embrace the instantly beautiful view as you enter stunning Chugach backcountry. Marvel at the iconic Lake George Glacier, Whiteout Glacier and Colony Glacier. View dazzling melt-water pools and crystal-blue glacier made for a picture-perfect backdrop. En-route, look for moose, bear and sheep traversing 20-Mile River Valley. Then, experience an unforgettable glacier landing and step out onto the ice to spend 15-20 minutes exploring.
Spend time at leisure exploring the wealth of activities on offer at Alyeska Resort. Unwind with a plunge in the indoor saltwater pool, treat yourself to expert pampering at The Spa at Alyeska , or embark on one of the resort's many winter adventures. Heli-skiing, glacier hikes, and boat tours can be easily arranged. Opt to rent some snowshoe gear and explore Alyeska’s lively winter backyard on a hike through Moose Meadows and the surrounding trails at the base of Mt. Alyeska. Day 3: Girdwood
Embark on a thrilling snowmobile tour that immerses you in a picturesque winter wonderland. The glacier-fed valleys of the Chugach Mountains offer breathtaking views of icebergs, towering blue glaciers, and unbelievable ice caves. Direct your snowmobile into the Chugach Mountains to discover an icy paradise. Set out with your guide to glide across stoic glaciers and explore timeless ice caves. No experience required, but an adventuresome spirit is a plus. Please note: This tour is not always available and is dependent on trail conditions, snow conditions, and the Forest Service opening the glacial area for snowmobiles.

Day 4: Girdwood To Matanuska
Set out with your private driver-guide and transfer from Alyeska Resort to the Matanuska Valley. Enjoy plenty of photogenic stops along the way, stretch your legs with some time on short trails, and explore the beautiful Matanuska Valley. En-route, make a stop at Alaska's Musk Ox Farm, a non-profit farm dedicated to the domestication of the musk ox and sustainable agricultural practices.

Day 5: Matanuska
Start your day with an exploration of the breath-taking Matanuska Glacier, one of Alaska's premiere destinations. At 27 miles long and 4 miles wide, Matanuska is Alaska's largest glacier accessible by road. Join a small group of fellow adventurers to traverse this vast, ancient landscape. Marvel at ice that formed thousands of years ago, nestled high in the Chugach Mountains. Don your ice cleats and helmets and begin trekking the glacier by foot. Due to the dynamic nature of Matanuska, each day offers a unique experience as you walk for three miles on the ice. This once-in-a-lifetime tour can be easily customized to suit your interests, allowing you to fully immerse yourself within the wonders of this scenic marvel. Today, enjoy a transfer to Anchorage with your private driver-guide. Approximate travel time is 2 hours.
