Day 2: Santa Claus House – Chena Hot Springs – Wilderness Aurora Viewing

Visit the famous Santa Claus House in North Pole village, then continue to Chena Hot Springs for a relaxing soak in a natural sulfur spring. You may also visit the Aurora Ice Museum (entry fee: US$20/person).

  • Fly & Drive Arctic Circle: English-speaking guide. Please reserve the hotel shuttle one day prior to departure.

  • Ice Fishing: A fishing license is required ($15/person, under 16 free).

Day 4: Check-in at Borealis Basecamp – Igloo Stay

After breakfast, pack your luggage and check out. Around 11:30 AM, take the Aurora Shuttle to Borealis Basecamp, located in the outskirts of Fairbanks. Upon arrival, you may leave your luggage at the front desk and enjoy some free time or join pre-booked winter activities before check-in at 4:00 PM.

The Igloos at Borealis Basecamp are situated on a hill away from the city lights, offering the best possible environment to view the magnificent Northern Lights without obstruction. Enjoy a relaxing day surrounded by pristine wilderness — optional winter experiences such as snowmobiling, dog sledding, and reindeer walks are available. Day 5: Departure – Fairbanks Airport (FAI)

Today marks the end of your Alaska journey. Please pack your belongings and check your personal items carefully before departure. Hotel check-out time is 11:00 AM. Complimentary hotel shuttle service is available to Fairbanks Airport — please reserve in advance at the front desk.

If you are departing from Borealis Basecamp Igloo, the return shuttle departs at 8:00 AM or 11:00 AM, with a travel time of approximately 1.5 hours. Please plan your outbound flight accordingly.
