Day 2: Matanuska Glacier Hike – Anchorage to Fairbanks – Aurora Cabin Viewing

Embark on a 2–3 hour guided hike across the majestic Matanuska Glacier. Crampons will be provided for your safety as you explore the stunning ice formations. Afterward, transfer to the airport for your self-booked flight to Fairbanks (suggested flight: AS2410 19:00–19:57). In the evening, set out for an unforgettable aurora experience at a cozy cabin—enjoy snacks, hot drinks, and rest while waiting for the Northern Lights to dance above.

Tips: Bring hiking boots, a light jacket, spare socks, and sunglasses. Bilingual guide service provided throughout.

Day 3: Santa Claus House – Chena Hot Springs – Wilderness Aurora Viewing

Visit the charming Santa Claus House in North Pole and continue to Chena Hot Springs for a rejuvenating soak in natural sulfur-rich waters. Explore the fascinating Aurora Ice Museum (optional entry: US$20/person). In the evening, head into the wilderness for another chance to witness the aurora.

Tips:

  1. Bring swimsuit, towel, slippers, and 50¢ coins for locker rental.
  2. Aurora Ice Museum opens at 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM.
  3. Avoid alcoholic drinks before soaking in the hot springs.
  4. Outdoor pools restricted to guests 18+; indoor pools available for minors.

Customize your day with one of several exciting experiences:

  • Arctic Circle Road Adventure – Long drive, bilingual guide, limited cell service. Bring snacks; departure time may vary.
  • Fly & Drive Arctic Circle – English-only tour. Reserve shuttle one night before departure.
  • Dog Sledding – Glide through snow-covered trails with professional mushers.
  • Snowmobiling – Requires valid driver’s license and basic English skills.
  • Ice Fishing on Frozen Lakes – Fishing license required ($15/person; under 16 free).
  • Denali Hiking Tour – Includes crampons, professional guide; bring hiking boots, light jacket, socks, and sunglasses. Minimum 4 participants.

Day 6: Departure – Fairbanks Airport (FAI)

After breakfast, check out and prepare for your return journey. Complimentary hotel shuttle service is available to Fairbanks Airport—reserve in advance at the front desk. Wishing you a pleasant flight home!

  • Booking Changes: Changing departure dates or traveler names is considered a cancellation and requires rebooking.
  • Cancellation Fees:
    • 1–3 days before departure: 100% of tour fee
    • 4–10 days before departure: 50% of tour fee
    • 11–15 days before departure: 30% of tour fee
  • Reschedule Policy:
    If travel must be postponed due to force majeure (e.g., flight delays, strikes, illness, or severe weather), we will assist in minimizing loss but cannot cover related costs.
    • 9+ days before departure: No change fee
    • Within 9 days: 25% rescheduling fee plus any confirmed optional items; remaining balance will be applied toward the new booking.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for cancellations caused by natural disasters, weather, government actions, or transport disruptions. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
  • Optional Activities: Due to limited availability, optional tours are non-refundable once booked. Weather-related cancellations will be fully refunded.

Disclaimer: The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings depend on weather and solar activity. We cannot guarantee 100% viewing, but we hope every guest has the chance to witness their beauty.

Fairbanks Airport Pickup Service

  • We provide free pickup service for guests arriving at Fairbanks International Airport during designated hours (13:00–21:00, based on actual landing time).
  • Each booking includes one complimentary pickup if arrival is within the time window. Please provide your detailed flight information when reserving your transfer. If no flight details are received at least 72 hours before departure, we will be unable to arrange the service.
  • Pickup location: Fairbanks International Airport, Baggage Claim #1.
  • Guests arriving on flights close in time may share a shuttle bus. Short waiting times at the airport may occur—thank you for your understanding.

Anchorage / Fairbanks Airport Partner Hotels — Free Shuttle Service

  • Designated partner hotels near Anchorage and Fairbanks airports offer 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle service.
  • After collecting your luggage, please call your hotel and press “0” to request the shuttle. Provide your name (in Pinyin) and the number of passengers. The hotel shuttle typically arrives within 30 minutes.
  • Pickup locations:
    • Anchorage International Airport – Public Transportation Lane, Arrival Level
    • Fairbanks International Airport – Outside Arrival Gate #1

Fairbanks Airport Taxi Information
